Welcome to Drip Wellness & Seattle Mobile IV!

We are here to provide you with personalized, professionally-administered IV vitamin and hydration therapy. We are a nutrient therapy clinic, providing intravenous (IV) and intramuscular (IM) nutrients, and select medications at our Drip Lounge, in Mill Creek, WA. Available for events and mobile visit -with travel fee.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Intravenous and intramuscular (IV/IM) nutrient therapies are effective methods of delivering key nutrients to the cells of your body through your veins and muscles. Because these nutrients are infused or injected, we bypass the gastrointestinal system, so nutrients are nearly 100% absorbed, where they can be immediately utilized.

Hippocrates, a grandparent of medicine, is said to have said, “Let food be thy medicine.” While a diet in whole, healthy, natural foods is exceedingly important for optimal health, due to many factors including: agriculture, global food transportation, environmental toxicity, cultural and behavioral habits/patters, as well as mass commercialization and consumption of mainstream media-enforced availability and consumption of nutrient poor diets-- it is hard to get all the nutrients we need  from our food supply. While oral nutrients, vitamins, supplements, etc. can be enormously beneficial for some people at bridging nutrient gaps, they have limitations as well.  IV/IM therapy can address more quickly and directly some nutrient deficiencies, or can help alleviate some conditions associated with sub-optimal nutrient levels.

After discussing your goals, asking and having your questions and concerns addressed, consenting to nutrient therapy, and taking a brief medical history, you can  select an IV/IM from our menu. Once  your paperwork is complete we prepare the infusion or injection. Your skin will be prepped in a sterile fashion (arm and hand for IV,  shoulder or buttocks  for IM).  An IV will be placed and secured, or an IM shot will be injected.. A normal IV bag will take about 30-60  minutes to infuse. An IM shot will take only a few minutes to administer. Once completed, we will evaluate how you feel,  take your vital signs, ask you a few questions, and you'll be on your way!

Side effects rarely occur if at all. If they do, they are usually minor and  short lived. Minor redness, swelling and occasional bruising or bleeding can occur. You may experience temporary warming or cooling sensations in your arm or stomach. You may taste the vitamins or have vitamin smell in your urine. Our trained medical professional staff will help manage any side effects should they occur.

Most  of our IV drips take  between 30-60 minutes. During this time  you can relax, recline, read, listen to music on your headphones, and  just take time for you.  You can also take advantage of our plethora of informational material, watch a movie, bring a friend to talk with, or drip with! Don't worry, if you have to use the restroom, our IV poles are on wheels, and you can safely roll into the bathroom! Some people feel a warming, calming sensation while experience a nutrient infusion. For IM shots, you may feel a very brief pinch, or slight sting.

Yes, we utilize the highest quality and compounding pharmacies, and our staff are well-trained and certified in injection therapies. We maintain a clean, professional environment, and anything infused or injected is always sterile. These IV/IM's are administered by licensed, skilled specialists.

Overall, the most accurate answer is, it depends! In-general, vitamins and nutrients taken orally are only partially absorbed, this can be highly variable based on a number of factors-internally, such as your digestive health and other conditions, as well as external, source, quality and type of supplement. We are happy to discuss these with you.  Getting vitamins through the IV/IM process is a direct route to the bloodstream/muscles and your cells for maximum absorption. We can discuss any concerns or questions with you, as well as provide you with additional material to discuss with your health care provider(s).

There is a “cocktail” for nearly any condition, and it is recommended for overall well-being! IV nutrient therapy supports:

  • Anti-aging
  • Allergies/asthma
  • Athletic performance
  • Chronic fatigue and brain fog
  • Detoxification
  • Energy improvement
  • Hangovers
  • Headaches and migraine
  • Improved immunity
  • Longevity
  • ...and others

People interested in and learning about anti-aging and/or longevity medicine often come across information about two-specific nutrients: NAD+ and Glutathione.  We are not going to reinvent the web here by telling you all about them (although we can during your visit!). What we can tell you is that we carry and administer the highest quality of both of these nutrients, and that pricing is based on the dose and the route administered- several factors are involved in this. First is route of administration: Intramuscular (IM), or Intravenous (IV). This also in-part dictates the amount/volume of the dose (in milligrams-Mg's). IM administration is typically limited to 1-2 mL of volume, or 200-600mg of Glutathione, or 50-150 mg of NAD+. IV dosing varies for Glutathione between 200-3000mg, and for NAD+ of 50-1000mg. The total dose per visit will be discussed and determined together with our medical team, in order to 1. Keep you safe, and 2. Meet your needs. Some people come in having received these nutrients before, some are new to them, these factors as well as your health history play a role in what dose maybe best for you. The pricing is therefore variable and dependent on the combination of what dose is safest, tolerated, and requested. We assure you that our pricing is equivalent to and reflective of both the general wellness industry as well as the surrounding area rates. If your IV therapy team cannot discuss with you dose ranges and rationale, you may not be receiving optimal doses.

Do You Provide High-Dose Vitamin C IV (HDIVC) Therapy?

YES!

What qualifies as High-Dose Vitamin C?

Doses above 15–20 grams are considered high-dose in clinical practice. Therapeutic protocols may range from 25–75+ grams  depending on clinical goals and tolerance.

Is G6PD testing required?

Yes. For patient safety, documented normal G6PD (glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase) levels are required prior to infusions ≥15  grams. This screening reduces the rare but serious risk of hemolysis in deficient individuals.

How often is G6PD testing needed?

This is typically a one-time blood test unless medical   history changes. We can order this through our partnered laboratory services   if needed (see below).

Why does IV Vitamin C pricing vary by dose?

Cost reflects pharmaceutical-grade ascorbate, sterile compounding, infusion supplies, extended infusion time (90–180+ minutes), and clinical monitoring. Higher doses require longer administration time and individualized monitoring.

Is this covered by insurance?

High-dose IV Vitamin C is considered elective and is not typically covered by insurance. Payment is due at time of service.

Does this replace primary care?

No. IV Vitamin C therapy is complementary and does not substitute for ongoing medical care.

Do You Provide Iron Infusions?

YES!

Iron Infusion Therapy

What Type of Iron Do We Use?

We administer iron sucrose (Venofer), a well-established intravenous iron formulation commonly used in outpatient and hospital settings for the treatment of documented iron deficiency.

Who Is a Candidate for IV Iron?

IV iron may be appropriate for patients with iron deficiency anemia, low ferritin with symptoms, intolerance to oral iron, malabsorption conditions, or those needing more rapid iron repletion. A laboratory evaluation is required prior to treatment.

Required Lab Testing

Recent labs are required prior to infusion, including CBC, ferritin, serum iron, TIBC, and transferrin saturation. Additional testing may be recommended depending on medical history. You may have these emailed to us at info@drip-wellness.com, in certain circumstances we may accept clinician to clinician verbal requests.

How Dosing Is Determined

Dosing is individualized based on hemoglobin, ferritin, body weight, and calculated total iron deficit. The most common protocol is 200 mg per infusion, typically administered as a series of 3–5 treatments.

What to Expect During Treatment

Infusion time is approximately 30–60 minutes followed by a brief observation period. Iron sucrose is generally well tolerated. Possible side effects include temporary flushing, metallic taste, mild headache, or light headedness. Serious reactions are rare and monitored for in clinic.

Investment – Per Infusion

200 mg Iron Sucrose: $599 (45–75 minutes including monitoring)

Series Packages (if pre-paid)

3 Infusions (600 mg total): $1499
5 Infusions (1,000 mg total): $2499

Optional Services

Follow-Up Iron Panel: $95–$150

Important Notes

Iron infusion therapy is provided for documented iron deficiency and is complementary to, not a substitute for primary medical care. Services are self-pay.
